[Hiring] Usability Engineer @Sunrise Systems

Role Description

Seeking candidates with strong hands-on experience in Clinical Evaluation Protocols (CEP), Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER), and relevant cardiovascular or structural heart domain knowledge. Client is open to considering individuals who demonstrate strong CEP/CER expertise and relevant clinical evaluation experience, even if they may not meet every preferred qualification, provided they have the ability to ramp up quickly in the Heart.ai domain.

• Target LA, California or St Paul area although open for nationwide.
• There is a new SW Release getting pushed out by end of the year.
• Clinical trials are set for beginning of October.
• Consultants NEED to know when changing user interface, what is the impact for FDA approval and software.
• UI testing, industry design and what is the impact of the new software release.
• Validation and verification are critical.

Qualifications

• Progressively more responsible work experience with the design of software for complex applications.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of human factors as well as cognitive psychology theory and application.
• Understanding of the software development process, software technology, and effective methods of working with R&D teams.
• Knowledge of customers, trends, governmental factors, and emerging research and technologies affecting product usability.
• A qualified record of implementing new processes to existing human factors and related systems.

Requirements

• Creates detailed usability improvement concepts.
• Contributes to the product charter/contract and works with multiple simultaneous development teams to successfully implement usability improvement concepts.
• Leads and assists in the management of internal and external development resources.
• Assists in the development of engineering documents, user manuals, online help, and training materials.
• Creates and refines usability related processes, and trains others in their use.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Consultants NEED to have experience developing clinical evaluation protocols and authoring Clinical Evaluation Reports.
• Expects knowledge of:
• Structural Heart procedures
• TAVR
• TMVR
• TTVR
• Cardiac CT planning
• LVOT assessment
• Cardiac imaging workflows

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $XX-XX per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
