[Hiring] Senior UI Artist @Tango Gameworks

Role Description

Tango Gameworks is seeking a Senior UI Designer with experience in game development. You will collaborate with the director, art director, game designer team, and programmer team on a new 3D action game currently in production using Unreal Engine 5. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing UI/UX based on specifications that align with the game's world view.
• Creating various UI assets and animations using Unreal Engine 5, including Widget Blueprints and materials.
• Designing 2D graphics used in the game.
• Executing production schedules.
• Communicating within and outside the team to exchange opinions for problem-solving and improvements.
• Training team members and contributing to skill development.

Qualifications

• Experience in UI design from prototype to product version in consumer and social games.
• Experience collaborating with directors, game designers, and programmers on UI/UX design and implementation.
• Experience creating UI assets using development tools like Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Practical experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong communication skills for smooth collaboration within and outside the team.
• Experience or willingness to mentor junior staff.
• If foreign, possess Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or higher.

Requirements

• Experience with Unreal Engine materials and Widget Blueprint creation (preferred).
• Experience creating motion graphics with After Effects (preferred).
• Ability to design interfaces with a user-centric approach (preferred).
• Ability to lead teams in quality management (preferred).
• Experience with multilingual UI support (preferred).
