Role Description

As a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) at CoverGo, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our product and redefining how design is done in an AI-enabled environment. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders. Not just to design interfaces, but to identify opportunities, shape features, and drive product outcomes end-to-end. This is not a traditional design role. You will use modern AI tools to prototype faster than conventional workflows, experiment with new ways of working, and deliver solutions close to production quality.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design process from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring high-quality designs and user-centered experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems and translate product direction into end-to-end solution design.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Continuously apply industry trends and best practices to improve product practices and product outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth as the team scales.
• Leverage modern AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude Code) to rapidly ideate, prototype, and refine solutions.
• Explore and apply AI-augmented workflows to deliver near production-quality outputs, including high-fidelity prototypes and front-end-ready code, reducing handoff friction and development effort.
• Actively lead product discovery, from identifying opportunities to shaping solutions and driving development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Strong product mindset, with the ability to drive product discovery and development.
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, with strong attention to structure, consistency, and scalability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading design projects or teams, with the ability to guide and inspire others.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, prototyping, or code generation (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to significantly accelerate workflows.
• Ability to produce design outputs close to production-level quality, with practical understanding of how designs translate into code.
• Experience working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments, with a proactive approach to defining processes and getting things done.
• Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
