Role Description

This role involves crafting the next generation of products and enhancing core features in the construction industry.

Re-imaging the next generation of 3D and data visualization tools in our core product.
Building analytics dashboards that help our customers make high-impact decisions.
Creating new features and products to assist project teams in managing their construction projects.
Zero-to-one creation of new concepts and improving existing applications.
Designing industry-leading experiences for our core application.
Crafting tools that provide users clarity about their construction projects.
Turning ambiguous problems into concrete new products.
Influencing the future direction of our roadmap through user research and concepting.
Working collaboratively with design, product, and engineering teams.
Engaging in design reviews and sharing work with design and company leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company.
Independently driven high-impact and 0-1 design projects in complex SAAS applications.
High degree of visual craft with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and layout.
Ability to reduce complex problems into simple, beautiful experiences.
Comfortable working on projects with a high degree of ambiguity.
Demonstrates unwavering user empathy while effectively prioritizing tasks.

Requirements

Proven track record of driving design projects from ideation to completion.
Ability to design with qualitative and quantitative data.
Skilled in communicating design work, process, and decisions to internal stakeholders.
Expertise in prototyping tools to create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes.
Strong independence with the capability to champion a broader design vision among cross-functional stakeholders.
Located in the Bay Area.
