[Hiring] Senior AI Product Designer @Picsart

Role Description

You are a Full-Time Contractor (12-month contract) with the flexibility to work remotely, with the option to join us in the office whenever you’d like. We are seeking an AI Product Designer (Contractor) who will design the AI components of our products used by creators. The work you ship here reaches all of them within weeks. A lot of this has no established pattern yet, and you would be one of the people working it out on a product people already use every day. Your role might also develop over time to keep up with the change.

• Own how the system behaves and creation experiences across web and mobile.
• Work alongside researchers and writers, with engineering and product partners who want you involved early in the process.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Prototyping and testing quickly with a mix of design, AI, and code-based tools.
• Getting real prototypes in front of creators early.
• Using research and data to keep the work tied to how creators actually create.
• Collaborating with product, engineering, data science, growth, and marketing from the start.
• Shaping how a creator's assets and outputs get surfaced and reused through search, recommendations, and automation.
• Working in Cascade, our design system, and contributing to it as needed.
• Helping define what good looks like for AI-native design.

Qualifications

• The craft built in traditional design work, carried into the AI workflow.
• 5+ years designing consumer-facing products, ideally SaaS, creative tools, or productivity platforms.
• Experience designing complex systems and workflows such as content platforms, dashboards, automation tools, or multi-surface ecosystems.
• Comfort with AI-assisted design workflows and rapid prototyping.
• Familiarity with front-end code or code-based prototyping.
• Judgment about when a system should suggest, draft, act, or stop and ask.
• Experience improving key flows such as activation, retention, and engagement.
• Strong communication skills.
• A portfolio showing end-to-end thinking and impactful work.

Good To Have

• Designing AI-powered features such as generation, search, recommendations, auto-tagging, or smart organization.
• Experience with video or content-production workflows.
• Knowledge of file systems, cloud storage, or asset management tools.
• An interest in AI-native experiences that extend beyond current UI patterns.
• Motion and animation craft.
