Role Description

As an Interior Trim Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating high‑quality 3D models, surfaces, and drawings for automotive interior components using UG‑NX. You will contribute to concept development, feasibility studies, and technical surfaces while ensuring adherence to best design practices and manufacturing requirements. Strong communication, a proactive mindset, and quick learning ability are essential for succeeding in this role.

• Create robust 3D solid and surface models, as well as 2D drawings, using UG‑NX with best‑practice methodologies.
• Work on concept and full‑cycle development of car doors, interior trims, and luggage trim components.
• Evaluate package feasibility, manufacturing feasibility, and benchmarking inputs to deliver mature design concepts.
• Develop master sections and technical surfaces to support styling, engineering, and downstream teams.
• Apply knowledge of automotive interiors, component design, and manufacturing processes during model development.
• Ensure all designs meet engineering standards, design guidelines, and feasibility constraints.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively to resolve design issues and align on technical requirements.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach, willingness to learn quickly, and ability to adapt to evolving project needs.

Qualifications

• Must have good hands-on UG-NX Solid, Surface and 2D Drawings applications.
• Should hold experience and know-how of Automotive Interiors.
• Must have basic knowledge of component feasibility manufacturing know-how.
• Understand and deliver mature concepts in design.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proactive approach with a quick learning ability.
