Role Description
We're seeking a Product Designer to join our design team, embedded with our client-facing growth squad. Your job is to make the experience of managing service of process feel fast, clear, and trustworthy for attorneys and legal professionals.

Own design across the client experience β job tracking, onboarding, integrations, and new product surfaces that drive law firm growth.

Run and ship AI experiments β design, test, and iterate on AI features that reduce repetitive work.

Use AI tools to prototype β leverage tools like Claude Code, Lovable, and v0 to create working prototypes quickly.

Talk to law firm clients β understand their needs and pain points.

Design for growth β focus on activation, retention, and user success metrics.

Work with our design system (Atlas for web, Compass for mobile) β maintain consistency while extending it when needed.

Partner with engineers and PMs β advocate for good UX while being realistic about shipping timelines.

Measure design effectiveness β track task completion, activation rates, and feature adoption.
Qualifications

5-7 years designing client-facing or consumer products (B2B SaaS with real workflow complexity).

Portfolio showcasing shipped work with before/after examples and results.

Experience using AI tools for prototyping.

Understanding of growth metrics like activation and retention.

Ability to learn from users through validation and feedback.

Skill in breaking down complex tasks into simple steps for non-technical clients.

Pragmatic approach to shipping good work and learning from it.

Experience working with design systems.

Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and PMs about tradeoffs.

Capability to explain design decisions clearly.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 CAD based on experience and location.

How We Work
This is a fully remote role. Our team spans EST to PST, with most of the engineering and ops team based in Eastern Time. You're welcome to work when you're most productive, but we expect overlap with Eastern Time hours for team rituals, design syncs, and cross-functional collaboration.
