Role Description

As a Product Designer within the claims and claims adjudication systems space, this position plays a critical role in ensuring our products solve real customer problems in ways that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable. The position will drive outcomes based on deeply understanding the needs, workflows, and challenges of our customers—translating those insights into thoughtful product experiences that drive measurable customer and business value.

• Partners closely with product management and engineering as part of a product team.
• Advocates for the user while balancing technical, regulatory, and operational realities.
• Monitors industry trends and competitive offerings.
• Builds business cases for new capabilities and identifies opportunities for product improvement.
• Ensures the experience of our claims adjudication tools evolves to meet customer needs.
• Provides design leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Helps raise the overall quality and consistency of design across the product line.

Qualifications

• 12 or more years of experience in product management, software development, technical support, or consulting.
• Experience with product systems design principles.
• Experience assessing client business and technology requirements and working with company software and hardware products and services.
• Strong skills in product development methodologies such as vision and strategy, business area architecture, iterative custom development, package-based development, or accelerated application development.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize work.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Medicaid and/or healthcare industry claims adjudication, configuration, and processing experience.
