Role Description
As a Product Designer at Userflow, you'll work alongside our Senior Designer and Product Managers to ship high-quality product experiences that our customers love. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership. You won't just be executing tickets - you'll be a thought partner in shaping the product.
-
Design end-to-end: Own features from early exploration through to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.
-
Research and validate: Partner with PMs to run lightweight user research, interviews, and usability tests to ensure we're solving the right problems.
-
Move fast with AI: Use tools like Lovable, Cursor, v0, or similar to generate UI, pressure-test concepts, and explore directions in parallel before committing to full fidelity.
-
Collaborate closely with engineers: Work alongside our engineering team to ensure designs are implemented as intended and engage early on feasibility.
-
Contribute to our design system: Help maintain and evolve our component library and design patterns as the product grows.
-
Iterate with data: Use product analytics and user feedback to continuously refine shipped experiences.
Qualifications
-
3-4+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong B2B SaaS work.
-
Startup experience - you've worked in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment and know how to prioritize and adapt.
-
An AI-native workflow. You actively use AI tooling as part of how you work.
-
Strong end-to-end skills across the full design process - research, information architecture, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI.
-
Figma proficiency: You live in Figma. Prototyping, auto-layout, and component-based design are second nature.
-
Self-directed: You can scope your own work, manage your time, and drive projects forward without a lot of hand-holding.
-
Clear communicator: You work well with PMs and engineers, articulate your thinking, and take feedback constructively.
Requirements
-
The design world is changing fast. We're looking for someone who has embraced that and will continue to help us evolve the product for the next generation of Product People.
-
You use AI tools to move faster through the fuzzy early stages - generating rough UI, exploring multiple directions in parallel, spinning up quick prototypes to validate ideas before investing in full fidelity.
-
You know that AI doesn't replace judgment. You bring the design thinking, the user empathy, and the craft.
-
If your current workflow looks roughly the same as it did two years ago, this probably isn't the right fit.
Nice to Have
-
Experience designing for PLG products or developer/builder tools.
-
Familiarity with onboarding, activation, or in-app engagement patterns.
