Role Description

Your challenges as a Product Designer:

Learn: Continuously develop an understanding of what is friction and what is delight for niche users with many years of academic training, and how that relates to their professional habits.
Scale: Identify incremental changes to improve usability, standardize design system components for better quality, and introduce existing features to new markets with minimal localization cost.
Innovate: Determine the minimum design that fits the core hypothesis when expanding to a new JTBD, unblock difficult engineering iterations, and enhance accuracy through seamless user feedback.
Promote: Develop content and assets for product marketing, define the language and tone for new features, and package these to enhance storytelling for the commercial team.
Validate: Introduce quantitative and qualitative trackers to validate user reactions to improvements and share insights with the wider team.

Qualifications

Strong interaction and UX design skills, with the ability to apply modern methodologies.
Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) for creating specs and storytelling.
Devoted to quickly validating hypotheses with user flows and prototypes.
Ability to create user research briefs and expand on stakeholder thinking.
Obsessive about collecting feedback and dissecting qualitative data from multiple sources (NPS, Social, Rating, etc.).
Solid understanding of design systems and component-based design.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a Product Design role at an internet economy, digital-first, or digital agency/consultancy.
Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and researchers.
Demonstrated ownership in gathering user insights and translating them into design decisions.
(Preferred) Experience in launching a product in one local market and scaling it to multiple countries.
(Preferred) Experience in building SAAS software or working in an early-stage startup.
Proficiency in English at a business level; experience in adjusting design for Eastern language localization preferred.
