[Hiring] Lead Brand Designer @Stord

Role Description

Stord is hiring a remote Lead Brand Designer to own and evolve its visual identity across the website, product marketing, events, sales collateral, and social. It's a hands-on player-coach role. You'll set creative direction, build scalable brand guidelines and templates, guide a small team of designers and freelancers, and still design high-impact work yourself. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Content, Sales, Product Design, and leadership.

In this role, you will focus on defining, evolving, and protecting Stord's visual identity across every place customers, brands, and prospects meet us, from the website and product marketing to events, sales collateral, and social.

• Maintain and evolve Stord's visual identity, including logo, color, typography, illustration, iconography, photography, motion, and layout.
• Document clear, usable guidelines and templates.
• Define the design vision for campaigns, launches, the website, events, and sales enablement.
• Create standout assets across digital and print, such as landing pages, ads, decks, one-pagers, social content, trade show environments, and swag.
• Guide designers and freelancers, give clear and constructive feedback, set quality standards, manage priorities and workflow.
• Work with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Content, Sales, and Product Design to turn briefs and business goals into compelling creative.
• Build reusable templates, design components, and self-serve resources for on-brand work.
• Use performance data, feedback, and testing to inform creative decisions.
• Brief, direct, and review work from external creative partners, printers, and production vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of brand or graphic design experience, including 2+ years leading projects, designers, or creative direction.
• B2B technology, SaaS, or supply chain and logistics experience is a plus.
• A track record of building or evolving a brand identity and scalable guidelines.
• Exceptional typography, layout, color, and composition skills across digital, print, and presentation formats.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with Google Slides or PowerPoint for sales and executive decks.
• Proven ability to coach designers and manage creative workflow.
• Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• Exceptional organization and project management skills.
• Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.

Requirements

• Motion design and video skills (After Effects, Premiere, or similar).
• Familiarity with Webflow, HubSpot, or other web and marketing platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted design tools responsibly.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication from a program with a strong branding focus.
• Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS, e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain technology company, or at a brand-focused design agency.
