[Hiring] Junior Video Editor @Globalfy

Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the audiovisual field. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop their editing skills in a digital and global startup environment.

• Edit weekly videos for our social media channels;
• Work on video formats such as YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms;
• Support the team with basic video cuts, transitions, subtitles, and visual adjustments;
• Follow pre-defined scripts and guidelines for video production;
• Ensure videos meet quality standards and are delivered on time;
• Collaborate with the Branding & Content team to maintain consistency in visual communication and branding.

Qualifications

• Advanced English, both written and spoken;
• 1+ year of experience in video editing or relevant academic/projects experience;
• Knowledge of video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar);
• Knowledge of AI tools for video editing (Claude Code, Remotion, Generative Ai platforms);
• Attention to detail and organization skills;
• Willingness to learn and grow in the audiovisual field;
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Requirements

• Have worked in a startup or fast-scaling environment;
• Speak other languages, such as Portuguese or Spanish.

Schedule

Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (East-time). The position is full-time, which means that you must be available every working day between 9 am and 5 pm EST due to time-zone changing according to Daylight saving time in the United States.
