[Hiring] Junior Freelance Video Editor @Splice

Role Description

We are looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to help produce high-quality, longform YouTube videos. If you have a sharp eye for pacing, a strong background in audio, and the technical skills to seamlessly blend multi-cam footage with screen recordings, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Multicam Workflow: Seamlessly sync, cut, and transition between 1-2 camera angles and a separate high-resolution screen recording file.
• Audio Sweetening: Leverage your music production knowledge to clean up dialogue, balance audio levels, and score the video to keep viewers engaged.
• Storytelling & Pacing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling longform content tailored specifically for audience retention on YouTube.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• A background as a music producer or strong familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience editing longform content specifically for YouTube.
• Any working experience with Blender for 3D elements, text, or animation is a major plus.

Requirements

• This is a contract role: The pay range for this role is $1,000 per long form video edit completed.
