[Hiring] Graphic Designer & Website Content Associate @Rooted Talents

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Website Content Associate to support local marketing efforts and maintain visual consistency across digital and in-store platforms. This role will focus on creating eye-catching promotional materials and managing content updates on the company’s WordPress website. You will collaborate closely with ownership to bring local marketing campaigns to life while staying aligned with Popeyes’ national brand guidelines. Your design work will directly support in-store promotions, local advertising, community events, and hiring campaigns — and you'll also ensure our website is always up to date with the latest graphics and information.

• Graphic Design
  • Design visual assets for:
    • In-store materials (flyers, menu inserts, posters, signage)
    • Digital use (social media graphics, promotional banners, job ads)
    • Hiring and onboarding materials
  • Customize corporate templates and national marketing assets for local use (adjust pricing, locations, language, etc.)
  • Ensure visual consistency across all materials while incorporating a local/Hawaiian touch where appropriate
• Website Maintenance (WordPress)
  • Upload new banners, promotional graphics, and announcements to the Popeyes Hawaii WordPress website
  • Update content such as store hours, locations, promotions, and hiring calls
  • Optimize graphics for mobile and performance
  • Coordinate updates with internal stakeholders as needed
• Video Editing
  • Edit short-form and promotional videos for social media, digital campaigns, and in-store displays
  • Create engaging video content featuring promotions, new menu items, store announcements, and hiring campaigns
  • Add captions, transitions, music, and branded elements while ensuring consistency with the company's visual identity
  • Resize and adapt video content for different platforms and formats, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic design experience
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva
• Familiarity with WordPress (basic CMS use – uploading content, editing pages, managing graphics)
• Experience editing short-form and promotional videos for social media or digital marketing
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software
• Strong eye for detail and visual consistency
• Basic knowledge of image optimization and responsive design principles
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent written English for clear image labeling, file organization, and update logs
