[Hiring] Graphic Designer / Print Designer @objkt

Role Description

This role involves designing the visual system for collectible cards, blending art direction, production design, and print-ready execution.

• Designing the full collectible card template and visual identity
• Creating print-ready layouts and preparing files for production
• Placing and adapting artists' artworks into card frames while respecting each artist’s intent
• Developing typography, color systems, iconography, rarity indicators, and edition markers
• Collaborating with internal teams to refine the creative direction
• Ensuring high consistency and quality across a large card set
• Working with print vendors to meet production requirements and specification

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio in graphic design and print design
• Experience designing for collectible cards, trading cards, or similar physical products is preferred
• Ability to take artworks of varying ratios and styles and integrate them into a cohesive card system
• Comfort with production workflows, bleed/safe zones, CMYK setup, varnish/foil layers, and variable data layouts
• Strong sense of typography, visual hierarchy, and composition
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across many variations
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Collaborative approach and willingness to iterate with the team
• Experience working with artists or in art-driven environments
• Illustration or motion skills are good to have
