Role Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & PowerPoint Specialist to create visually appealing designs and professional presentations. This role involves designing graphics, formatting slides, and ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines.

• Design graphics for presentations, reports, and marketing materials
• Create and format PowerPoint presentations with clean, engaging layouts
• Ensure consistency in branding, colors, and typography
• Edit and improve existing presentations and design assets
• Collaborate with team members to understand project needs and deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field
• Basic experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and other professional tools for graphic design and production
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Good communication and time management skills
• Experience with presentation storytelling or data visualization (preferred)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines (preferred)

Benefits

• A good faith estimate of the expected hourly rate for this position in our California office salary range is $70 - $85 per hour
• Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area
• Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions
