JOB SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating design concepts based on trend and market research to support stock and custom products. This role involves collaborating with Product Line Management, Design, Development, and vendors to streamline the creation and approval of product artwork from concept to final production. This role will support a variety of graphic design projects as time permits on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

• Lead concept design projects from sketch to completion, assuring alignment with brand identity and project goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant graphic designers and peers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Collaborate with designers and technical teams to ensure artwork aligns with product specifications and brand standards.
• Leads the creation and revision of product artwork, including mockups, color proofs, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure that art files are correctly prepared and transferred for production.
• Performs trend and market research for each of the Company’s product categories on a seasonal basis.
• Maintain organized records of all artwork and design revisions, ensuring easy access and retrieval for the team.
• Prepares finished artwork, exports, and publishes the artwork for production.
• Assist in managing timelines and deadlines for art-related tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve any artwork-related problems or discrepancies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design and production to provide innovative solutions and improvements.
• Supports Production by amending any files that need to be fixed and ensures quick turnaround time.
• Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fashion Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in graphic design in a related field, preferably in the apparel industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and print production processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems and experience with design file management is a plus.
• Ability to provide creative solutions and support to meet product and brand requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Office, fully remote
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to: AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, KY, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV.

WORK HOURS:

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
