[Hiring] Graphic Design Intern @Rael & Letson

Role Description

Aukema & Associates, a division of Rael & Letson, is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist with a range of design projects including but not limited to:

• Print collateral such as newsletters, mailers, brochures, flyers, etc.
• Digital design such as social media graphics, formatted emails, and fillable PDF forms
• Long form documents, logo design, and brand guidelines

This is a fully remote, paid part-time position. We are looking for a highly creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with an interest in working with a strategic marketing team to help create effective outreach campaigns and compelling communications for our clients.

• Part-time, 10 to 20 hours/week, with schedule to be mutually determined
• Anticipated duration is a 6-months internship, with potential to be a shorter or longer time frame
• If completed for degree credit, Intern is responsible for assuring all required paperwork and documentation is submitted
• Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, and the position will be filled as soon as we find a good candidate
• Although remote, work may not be performed from outside the United States

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
• Must know how to package files and export for print

Requirements

• In junior or senior year pursuing Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communication with an accredited college or university, or recent graduate

Responsibilities

• Design ongoing monthly campaigns for various clients
• Help format and design long-form documents
• Support logo design and brand guideline development for clients
• Create social media assets
• Create and format fillable PDF forms
• Format emails in Mailchimp from templates
• Update WordPress websites
• Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across various client projects
• Assist as needed with the creation of other marketing materials including print newsletters, brochures, flyers, signage, infographics, banner ads, visual identities, presentations, etc.
• Make edits to existing collateral and export final files
