[Hiring] Freelance Graphic Designer @CARMA

Role Description

We are seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to join our marketing team in Beirut. The role requires you to create visually compelling designs across print and digital media, contribute to the development of the CARMA brand identity, and clearly communicate the message behind each design to CARMA’s target audiences. Ensure brand consistency and deliver high-quality designs that align with the overall marketing strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop original design concepts from scratch, along with sample layouts that communicate the intended message effectively.
• Create and modify visual elements using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
• Apply corporate identities and brand guidelines consistently across all print and digital outputs.
• Work with team members and clients to understand their design needs, project requirements, and objectives.
• Conduct research to inform design decisions and ensure each design meets the project requirements.
• Present design concepts to the team and stakeholders, and incorporate their feedback and client changes into revised and final designs.
• Manage project timelines and deliver designs on time, including urgent requests with tight deadlines.
• Organize, name, and file artwork and design assets in a structured way so they are easy to retrieve and reuse.
• Share daily progress updates with the direct manager and team via Microsoft Teams.
• Support MENA clients on design work that involves Arabic content.
• Coordinate with vendors and production teams to ensure the successful execution of print and digital production.
• Provide design support to other business lines, including product graphics, logos, identity design, and other offline graphics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to keep designs consistent across all online communications.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, new design techniques, and software advancements.
• Comply with CARMA policies and procedures, and support the CARMA mission and vision.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications

• BA in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Graphic Communications or any related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
• Experience in designing for both print and digital platforms.
• Fluency, both written and spoken, in English and Arabic.
