[Hiring] Editorial Designer @Apartment Therapy Media

Role Description

We’re looking for a collaborative Editorial Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Art Director, you’ll help bring our editorial stories to life through thoughtful visual design by:

• Designing editorial and social graphics for site and social platforms, including templated and original creative
• Maintaining and updating templates, keeping content consistent and scalable across brands
• Partnering with the Editorial Operations team to ensure templates are current
• Supporting the Creative Team on features, packages, and tentpole projects
• Assisting in sourcing and coordinating illustrators for editorial stories

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a graphic designer in digital media
• Strong portfolio showing composition, typography, color, and editorial storytelling
• Experience working with template systems for scalable editorial and social content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience in Figma strongly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and implement feedback effectively
• Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
• Positive, proactive attitude that contributes to a supportive and creative team environment

Requirements

• Salary Range: $75,000 - 80,000 annually
• The above represents the expected salary range for this role. Ultimately, compensation is determined by level of experience and other job-related factors.
