[Hiring] Director, UX Design @VSA Partners

Role Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate Director, UX Design to join our team who has a deep understanding of UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. As a UX Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s global dot-com presence by defining design strategies and leading the creation of cohesive, end to end, human centered experiences.

• Craft user experiences alongside key product stakeholders to understand and support product business goals, advocating user centered design industry best practices and effectively managing design resources.
• Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, interactions, and user flows.
• Develop visually appealing and brand consistent designs, including layouts, typography, and graphics.
• Work closely with cross functional teams including developers, project managers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
• Work closely with the design team to implement enterprise level design systems similar to the Carbon Design System in all solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX Director or senior level UX practitioner with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• 8+ years leading UI and UX design for enterprise scale digital platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Digital Experience, Interaction Design, or related field preferred

Requirements

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and human centered design
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards WCAG and best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
• Experience working with design systems
• Strict brand guidelines and UX best practices knowledge
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of design pattern trends and best practices
• Innovative and collaborative mindset, adaptable to fast paced, ever evolving creative environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience working with design systems such as Carbon Design System
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager AEM and Adobe Target
