Role Description
The Designer I is an entry-level role focused on building discipline fundamentals through hands-on Revit modeling, coordination, and documentation while learning TEECOMβs workflows, tools, and standards that support coordinated construction document delivery across TEECOM disciplines.

Prepare Revit models, update drawings, assist with reports and calculations, take meeting notes, and support coordination activities.

Participate in structured training journeys, shadow senior consultants, and gain hands-on exposure to various technology disciplines.

Reflect foundational technical development, a strong learning mindset, and disciplined production and documentation habits.
Qualifications

BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience in design, drafting, or technology systems.

0β2 years of experience in the AEC industry, design or technology systems, technology systems contracting, field or construction site exposure, or related professional or academic environments.

Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools; familiarity with construction documents or the building design process.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track tasks, take clear notes, and collaborate effectively.
Requirements

Ability to learn new software, follow workflows, and apply feedback to improve accuracy and clarity of drawings and documentation.

Foundational understanding of technology systems (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines) is a plus, but not required.

Proficiency in standard software tools (Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, Slack); willingness to learn Autodesk tools, Asana, Bluebeam Studio, Callback One, and GitHub.

Work Environment

Approximately 75% of work is performed in a remote or office environment using standard office equipment.

Approximately 25% occurs at client sites, including construction environments and existing facilities.

Construction sites may include exposure to elevated noise levels, dust, uneven or unfinished walking surfaces, variable lighting conditions, and active construction operations.
