[Hiring] Creative Video Editor & Short-Form Content Producer @Peotter's Auto Body & Spa

Role Description

We are looking for an editor to create content for automotive brands, shops, or services. This is a fully remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Latin America. You should be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time for questions and editing feedback.

You’ll research ideas, develop concepts, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta ads. You’ll work remotely with footage supplied by our on-site team and request specific shots when a story needs them.

• Research trends, formats, and audience questions, and propose ideas that fit the brand.
• Develop concepts, short scripts, and hooks for process videos, transformations, and service stories.
• Select footage, organize working files, and edit pacing, framing, captions, color, and sound.
• Write clear on-screen text and captions in English for a US audience.
• Adapt approved concepts for organic posts and paid ads, including different openings and calls to action.
• Choose music suitable for the intended commercial use, share cuts for approval, and deliver project files and exports.
• Use performance information shared by the team to suggest what to test or improve.

Qualifications

• A portfolio that shows strong short-form editing and creative thinking.
• Experience finding a story in raw footage and explaining your creative decisions.
• Strong editing skills, including audio, color, and text that is easy to read on a phone.
• The ability to write concise English copy and discuss briefs and feedback in English. Native fluency is not required.
• An organized, dependable approach to full-time remote work.
• Automotive content experience is a strong preference.
• Experience with skilled trades or paid social creative is also useful.
