[Hiring] Art Director @WD Partners

Role Description

As an Art Director on our Marketing Team, you bring the WD Partners brand to life across marketing, business development and thought leadership deliverables. You'll work closely with our Executive Leadership Team to translate brand strategy and campaign goals into compelling visual ideas, and lead them from concept through final execution.

This is a hands-on role on a small team: we're looking for someone who can concept and think big picture, plus loves to jump into the details and execute the work too! We work in a highly collaborative environment, so you'll have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior designers, ensuring that every piece we put into the market is consistent, elevated, and positions WD as an innovator for the multi-unit brands we serve.

Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or other related degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience art directing projects, working in cross-functional team environments, and mentoring or supervising other designers
• Prior design experience in a marketing, agency, or in-house creative environment, with progressive levels of responsibility
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) plus Microsoft PowerPoint
• Portfolio demonstrating strong brand, marketing and presentation design work

Requirements

• B2B or professional services marketing experience
• Experience designing for digital channels, including web, email and social
• Motion graphics, video and/or presentation animation experience
• Experience with event, trade show or environmental graphics
• Comfort using AI-assisted design and production tools
• Familiarity with retail, restaurant, and convenience store, or other multi-unit brand industries is helpful
