Role Description

We are seeking a talented, hands-on Art Director to join their creative team. In this role, you will lead the conceptual and visual development of multi-channel marketing campaigns while personally designing and executing polish-level visual assets across digital, print, sales collateral, and motion media.

• Drive B2B SaaS Campaigns: Develop and lead creative concepts, visual directions, and multi-touch campaign assets targeting technical decision-makers (IT SysAdmins, CIOs, and IT Directors).
• Hands-on Execution: Personally design and produce high-impact creative work across all project scales - from rapid-turnaround digital ads and landing page visuals to multi-page data reports, pitch decks, and brand collateral.
• Functional Creative Leadership: Serve as a mentor and visual authority for graphic designers and cross-functional partners, offering thoughtful feedback and raising the creative bar across the organization.
• Brand Governance & Systems: Maintain, elevate, and govern brand guidelines, Figma component libraries, and design systems to ensure consistency across digital and print touchpoints.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal marketing stakeholders, UI/UX designers, project managers, and in-house videographers to bring cohesive creative strategies to life.
• Modern Tools & AI Integration: Stay current on industry design trends and leverage AI-assisted design tools and workflows to optimize creative speed and output.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of total creative experience, including 5+ years in a dedicated Art Director role.
• Domain Focus: Strong background on B2B SaaS or tech, with a portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of marketing to technical B2B audiences.
• Design Mastery: Expert-level proficiency across typography, layout, color theory, grid systems, and visual hierarchy.
• Toolkit: Advanced, hands-on expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience or familiarity with motion graphics/video direction is a strong plus.
• Process & Systems Mindset: Highly organized and detail-oriented ("Type A") approach to file setup, design systems, and systematic workflows.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Placement Type: Temp to Perm
• Salary: $55-65 Hourly
• Start Date: Nov 9, 2026
• Location: Remote (US-based; West Coast / Mountain Time preferred)
• Position Type: Contract-to-Hire. Part-time through the end of 2026 (~20-30 hrs/week), converting to a full-time salaried role in 2027 if the candidate is a good fit.
• Pay: $55- $65/hr during the part-time, temp portion. Target salary range upon conversion is $135,000 - $150,000.
