Role Description
This position will have a design/technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams. Your initial assignment will be on a 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinicβs campus.

Independently and under limited direction, contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team; design, selection, coordination and architectural detailing.

Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and other programs as required.

Independently develop and manage the REVIT model to produce plans, elevations, and sections.

With limited direction, produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases.

Prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.

Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.

Assist in the development of design and concept drawings.

Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers.

May take on a leadership role within the team on a particular project issue or topic.

Review shop drawing submittals with some guidance from the Project Architect.

May attend field site inspections, which frequently involves a physical walk-through of the site.

Attend and actively participate in project team meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.

Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.

Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.

Must be able to participate in the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content.

Strong creative design portfolio is essential.

Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.

Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.

Professional business attire is required for all client meetings.

Travel required.
Requirements

The salary range for this position is $62,395 to $78,618 annually.

Actual compensation may vary based on candidate's geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
