Role Description

Are You a Performance-Driven Video Editor Who Knows How to Turn Creative Into Conversions? If you think in hooks, pacing, and paid social performance, and you’re already leveraging AI video tools to produce faster, smarter creative, this role is for you.

At Organics Ocean, we’re looking for an AI-native Video Editor Lead/ Performance Videographer who will help scale high-volume direct response creative. This role exists to solve a key business need:

• Increasing creative output
• Improving execution speed
• Reducing revision cycles
• Elevating the quality of edits through advanced AI workflows

This is a production-first role focused primarily on editing, post-production, and AI-enhanced creative, not traditional filming. You will work closely with Creative, Growth, and Marketing partners to deliver performance-focused assets that directly impact campaign velocity.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs+ of proven experience editing direct response performance creatives for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Strong understanding of conversion-focused editing, including hooks, pacing, storytelling, and call-to-action structure
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-volume creative output in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment
• Hands-on experience using AI video generation and enhancement tools within production workflows
• Proficiency with core editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of creative design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Figma
• Experience collaborating closely with creative strategists, growth teams, or performance marketing teams
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute with minimal revision cycles
• Strong communication skills and comfort participating in real-time feedback sessions
• Ability to manage multiple creative experiments simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality

Requirements

• Experience working with tools such as Higgsfield, Google V3/Gemini workflows, or similar AI-driven platforms
• Understanding of AI-assisted editing techniques, including both overt AI creative and realistic AI integrations
• Willingness to work within US time zones (Eastern preferred)
• Access to a work computer, a reliable internet connection, and a distraction-free workspace
• Portfolio demonstrating direct response and AI-enhanced video work
• 1 yrs + experience as a team lead, preferred
