Role Description

We seek a creative, professional 2D Artist with Middle or Senior experience. As a part of a cross-specialization team, you will be involved in the exciting process of game development and evolution, concept art, and asset creation.

Directions of professional activity:

  • 2D generalist (concept art, promo art, casual style)

You will be working on Disney Magic Kingdoms β€” a tycoon game where players build and expand their own Disney theme park, unlock iconic characters, and engage in story-driven quests, events, and continuous content updates.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of light, value, color, and composition principles, with the ability to apply them in practice
  • Practical experience with concept art and design principles
  • Experience working with casual/cartoon art styles
  • Basic experience with 3D tools (at least for blockout during the concept stage)
  • Ability to generate and develop original ideas, with a creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including giving and receiving feedback, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and meeting deadlines
  • Experience working on mobile games

Nice to have:

  • Advanced 3D skills
  • Formal education in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field
  • Understanding of the mobile games market and trends

Responsibilities

  • Create concept art for props, environments, isometric buildings, and decorative elements
  • Design icons, currencies, and other UI assets
  • Produce promotional art, including complex scenes, characters, and backgrounds
  • Collaborate with 3D artists by preparing concepts for modeling and providing feedback
