Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SSIS Report Developer with a strong background in healthcare data systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes and reporting solutions using SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server, with a focus on HIPAA-compliant data handling and clinical data integration. This role plays a critical part in supporting data-driven decision-making across clinical, operational, and administrative functions.

• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) healthcare data from various sources including EHR/EMR systems, claims databases, and third-party APIs.
• Develop and deploy SSRS reports and dashboards for clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinical informatics, compliance, and business teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure all data handling and reporting processes comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Optimize SQL queries and SSIS packages for performance and scalability.
• Monitor ETL workflows and troubleshoot data integration issues.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in SSIS and SQL Server development, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, LOINC).
• Experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficient with Google Big Query. Hands on in DBT.
• Strong Knowledge in Dimensional modeling and DWH Principles.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices.
• Familiarity with GCP-native services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer.

Requirements

• Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Familiarity with healthcare analytics platforms or data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau for advanced data visualization.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or cloud-based ETL tools.
• Certification in healthcare IT or data analytics (e.g., CHDA, Epic Clarity).
