Role Description
We are seeking a Shipping Data Analyst to leverage data-driven insights that help clients optimize costs and maximize revenue in their shipping operations. In this role, you will dive into shipping data analysis, develop impactful reporting, and collaborate with both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate thrives on detail, is highly analytical, and is comfortable presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze shipping data (e.g., volume, destination trends, courier costs) to identify cost savings opportunities.
- Compare courier rates to recommend optimal shipping partners and strategies and cost reduction.
- Build dynamic reports and dashboards using Excel, data visualization tools, and techSHIP.
- Prepare client-facing summaries with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Continuously improve reporting templates for efficiency and clarity.

Process Development
- Design scalable processes for rate comparisons, report generation, and client onboarding.
- Standardize methodologies to analyze diverse shipping profiles across various industries.

CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in HubSpot CRM.
- Track client interactions, goals, and performance metrics to ensure successful shipping outcomes.

Customer Collaboration
- Engage with clients to understand their shipping requirements and constraints.
- Present data-driven findings and insights during client meetings.
- Provide ongoing support to clients for leveraging the techSHIP platform effectively.

Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with data-driven insights for customer proposals.
- Demonstrate how partner courier rates can lead to financial and operational benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, eCommerce, or third-party logistics (3PL) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with BI/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Working knowledge of shipping platforms like techSHIP and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across various teams.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) for stakeholder presentations.
- Organizational & time management skills to handle fast-paced logistics environments.
