Role Description

This role involves working as a ServiceNow Business Analyst, focusing on gathering and documenting business requirements and improving processes.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement using ServiceNow functionalities.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the ServiceNow platform.
Create BRD, FRS documents aligned with business requirements.
Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct functional testing to ensure changes meet business requirements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure any identified issues are resolved.
Document test results and track defects through to resolution.
Create user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles for end-users and administrators.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to help users understand the functionalities and best practices of ServiceNow.
Support end-users by providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
Work closely with ServiceNow developers and administrators to ensure functional requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to support project progress.
Recommend enhancements and process improvements based on the latest ServiceNow capabilities.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM.
Strong analytical skills for gathering requirements, documenting processes, and creating functional specifications.

Requirements

Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Business Analysis-related certifications (e.g., CBAP).
ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL framework and IT Service Management (ITSM) Best practices.
Experience working in agile development environments.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools within ServiceNow.
