Role Description

HHSC is seeking an experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Administrator/Developer to support its Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiative. This role will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, helping master and integrate complex member and provider data across multiple Health and Human Services systems.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Informatica MDM, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, data profiling, data governance, and analytics, along with strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Master Data Management (MDM) administration and development activities.
• Analyze, profile, and integrate member and provider data from multiple internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and technical teams to resolve complex identity management challenges.
• Design and validate client and provider identity resolution strategies for enterprise analytics.
• Develop SQL queries for data analysis, profiling, and reporting.
• Create documentation, training materials, and best practices for MDM usage.
• Support data governance, data quality, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with AI-driven data analysis by validating outputs and helping develop effective prompt strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to program teams regarding data identity and integration solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• 10+ years of experience with Informatica MDM.
• 10+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating complex identity management needs into technical solutions.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL, data profiling, and data analysis.
• 8+ years of experience collaborating with business users and analytics teams.
• 8+ years of experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica IICS.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments.
• Experience working in healthcare, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Experience serving as a primary MDM subject matter expert.
• Experience promoting enterprise-wide MDM adoption.
• Exposure to AI prompt development and AI-assisted analytics.

• 100% Remote within Texas.
