Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in healthcare analytics, specifically in Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and diabetes insights. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to drive data-driven decision making and improve patient outcomes through innovative analytics solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of health analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.

• Develop and implement advanced analytical models to extract insights from healthcare data related to CGM and diabetes management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, data engineers, and product managers, to identify key business questions and deliver actionable insights.
• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare analytics, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7 -10 years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on healthcare.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful analytics projects in a healthcare setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through data.

Requirements

• Proven experience in health analytics, particularly in diabetes management and CGM technologies.
• Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex data insights clearly.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and their application in healthcare.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data wrangling and preprocessing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare data standards.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
