Role Description

The Senior Data Manager supports all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting.

• Supports implementation of government and industry policies for:
• Requirements management
• Document management
• Change management
• Production and delivery
• Configuration management of the performance, functional, and physical baselines
• Acquires, validates, stores, protects, and processes required data to ensure accessibility, reliability, and timeliness for users.
• Develops and executes architectures, policies, practices, and procedures that manage the full data lifecycle needs of an enterprise.
• Begins to influence department's strategy.
• Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, working without direction.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

This is a remote position, and you will report to the Associate Director, Innovation Portfolio Strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of hands-on Python experience for data processing, transformation, automation, validation, or related data workflows
• 3+ years of SSIS experience
• 3+ years of SQL, SSIS, Python, Databricks experience
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and large, complex datasets
• Strong technical documentation skills, including ability to document data flows, business rules, dependencies, processes, and production support procedures

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field (preferred)
• Healthcare or managed care experience (preferred)
• Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlickView, Hadoop, SQL or similar tools (preferred)

• Work at Home Requirements: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection suggested.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
• Pay Range: $97,900 - $133,500 per year
• This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
