[Hiring] Senior Data Analyst @8am

Role Description

The Data Analytics team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support key business functions including FP&A, Partnerships, and Product by delivering high-quality analytics, automated reporting, and actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, finance, and business strategy, and will partner closely with Data Engineering to build scalable data models and workflows that power financial and partnership analysis.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working with complex datasets, and experienced in translating ambiguous business questions into well-structured analyses and clear narratives for senior leaders.

This role is hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) partner in the Czech Republic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Quantitative field (Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Ability to perform advanced data transformations in SQL and Excel
• Experience in transforming, analyzing, and visualizing data in Python
• Experience using GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to create interactive data tools
• Experience using a BI or visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Sigma)
• Experience working with modern data stacks, including cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
• Prior exposure to experimentation, cohort analysis, or product usage analytics
• 4+ years experience in banking, payment processing, or other finance technology
• 2+ years experience in B2B SaaS software or other subscription-based businesses
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation
