[Hiring] Senior Business Analyst @IQVIA

Role Description

You’ll be part of a geographically diverse, highly professional team comprised of domain experts, former clinical research practitioners, product owners, business analysts, quality testers, and engineers tackling all aspects of our business and operations. This position is fully remote.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead the efforts to gather, analyze, define, document, and validate software requirements.
• Focus on key functions of the core web application, system & device integrations, data visualization, and reporting capabilities.
• Support the overall growth and capabilities of the IQVIA Clinical eSource Platform.
• Spend time with key stakeholders to understand challenges and determine needs vs wants.
• Learn, understand, and document the product functionality and its capabilities.
• Create and contribute to technical documentation of the product in support of SDLC, including software design documents, functional specifications, and change requests.
• Occasionally create diagrams and other visual assets to depict capabilities and workflows.
• Drive effective planning, reporting, and analysis to internal functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of related systems or business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
• Strong technical skills with experience working within software development teams.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with BDD methodologies and requirement definition.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience (Nice to Have).
• Experience with Atlassian systems (Jira and Confluence) (Nice to Have).
• Knowledge of business-wide applications or IQVIA client-facing applications and products (Nice to Have).
• Knowledge of Phase I-IV clinical trial operations and workflows (Nice to Have).
• Expertise pertaining to clinical trial management software (Nice to Have).
• Knowledge of applicable clinical research, regulatory and other requirements (Nice to Have).
