Role Description

We are seeking independent Product Matching Specialists and data experts to provide their expertise for an e-commerce platform enrichment project. The objective of this project is to evaluate digital content, accurately match new products to existing ones, and create new product entries when needed to ensure the highest standards of data integrity.

Project Deliverables & Scope

• Product Data Enrichment: Accurately matching, creating, or dismissing product "pins" on the platform based on provided project guidelines.
• Quality Assurance Auditing: Reviewing and updating digital product content to ensure it strictly meets standards for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Edge Case Documentation: Proactively identifying, documenting, and flagging data inconsistencies, anomalies, or edge cases within the platform's ecosystem.
• Taxonomy & Logic Feedback: Providing structured suggestions and expert feedback to improve the platform's overall tagging logic, taxonomy, and data labeling workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable speed and accuracy with data entry, product tagging, or content moderation.
• Comfort and proficiency working with digital content, specifically evaluating and matching complex product images.
• The ability to independently follow complex guidelines and apply nuanced judgment to ambiguous digital storefront content.
• Proactive communication skills to accurately flag issues, document errors, and ask clarifying questions regarding edge cases.

Requirements

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, consumer products, influencer content, or a background in Quality Assurance (QA) and data labeling.

Benefits

• This project utilizes a piece-rate billing structure aligned with completed deliverables: $0.15 for a created pin, $0.10 per matched pin, and $0.02 for a dismissed pin.
• Depending on the contractor's workflow and efficiency, this yields an estimated average of ~$5.00 per hour.
• As an independent contractor, you’ll supply a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
