Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ETL Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and leading enterprise data integration and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable ETL pipelines, transforming and standardizing data from multiple sources, and ensuring reliable delivery into data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical platforms. This role also requires technical leadership, team mentorship, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL and data ingestion processes.
• Architect and build scalable data pipelines using modern ETL tools and cloud-native technologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of ETL developers, establishing coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Validate transactional and analytical data models for downstream applications and BI solutions.
• Create technical documentation and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on ETL development experience.
• Expertise with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data models and ETL pipeline design best practices.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead managing or mentoring teams of 4 or more developers.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Dataform.
• Strong experience with BigQuery.
• Experience implementing and supporting Medallion Architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and performance optimization practices.
• Experience with large-scale data migration and modernization projects.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and enterprise environments.
