[Hiring] Director of Insights @PennyDrops

Role Description

This is a volunteer position, for Canadian university students only.

We're looking for a Director of Insights to support PennyDrops' strategic decision-making and operational improvements through systematic data collection, management, and analysis. You'll turn data into actionable insights that directly inform how we grow our impact for youth across Canada.

What you will do:

• Data & analysis: Gather data and perform analyses to diagnose issues and identify areas of opportunity. Aid in the discussion of strategic initiatives that drive PennyDrops' mission forward.
• Dashboard design: Design dashboards in PowerBI, Retool, and other platforms to visualize data and make insights accessible across the organization.
• Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate across National Team portfolios to identify improvements and align on priorities, keeping our programs equitable and effective.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Canadian university student
• Any degree welcome (Computer Science or Business preferred)
• Curiosity: A desire to learn and teach is vital.

Requirements

• 8-10 hours of work per week is expected
• All work is remote, save for a few in-person events throughout the year
• You will work with fellow university students across the country, in teams ranging from 4-12 people
• Opportunities for awards, in-person experiences, recognition, and post-university jobs are available
