Role Description

CTG is seeking a Data Specialist – Technical Support Services to support enterprise data integration, optimization, and management initiatives for our client. This role focuses on designing and maintaining database solutions, data models, migration strategies, and data warehouses that support technical support services operations and reporting.

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate and manage structured and unstructured data across TSS environments.
• Design logical, physical, and dimensional data models.
• Develop and support ETL processes, data migration plans, and data warehouse solutions.
• Optimize database performance, data quality, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to define business and data requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to databases, data flows, and support procedures.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and database management experience.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data management, database administration, or data integration roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale technical support or operational environments.
• Familiarity with structured and unstructured data management methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Salary

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $65.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
