Role Description

Leland is seeking an experienced Data Science Coach to work with clients looking to break into or grow within data science roles. This role includes:

• Teaching core data science strategy, machine learning, and predictive modeling skills.
• Helping clients strengthen data cleaning and preprocessing, data visualization, statistical analysis, and data pipeline automation practices.
• Guiding clients on applying emerging tools like AI fundamentals, AI model evaluation, and AI automation to their data science work.
• Offering resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance.
• Providing behavioral and technical interview prep tailored to data science roles.
• Assisting with networking strategy, salary negotiation, promotion strategy, broader skill building, and support for those pursuing freelancing opportunities.

Ideal candidates have:

• Hands-on experience in data science (as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or industry professional).
• A strong track record of turning data into actionable insight.
• A clear, structured approach to coaching clients through both technical and career growth.

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client.
