[Hiring] Data Operations & Analytics Analyst @S&P Global Mobility

Role Description

Support our global research team by making sure our 100+ data forecasts are published on time every month and are fully valid.

• Understand, organize, prioritize, and implement requested changes to our internal forecasting tool within a short time frame, including metadata changes, data dictionaries, and publication processes.
• Communicate the status of requests, with estimated completion dates, to the research team and leadership.
• Document user challenges and devise potential solutions, making sure leadership is aware of common and urgent issues, and triage user issues through the necessary channels.
• Work with the system development team to proactively improve efficiency and quality.
• Carry out ad-hoc data manipulation and analysis tasks in a timely manner, such as data aggregation, joins, cleansing, transposing, and renaming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, with the ability to communicate insights through visual storytelling.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management tasks, with a strong analytical thought process and a drive for learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersed Operations team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Python and Generative AI, providing a foundation for data analysis and innovative solutions.
• This is a remote role. The work arrangement will be set out in the employment contract.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Mexico at the time of hire. The company is unable to provide immigration or work permit support for this position.
• The gross annual base salary for this position is $450,000 – $676,000 MXN. The final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications, consistent with the principle of equal pay for equal work.
