[Hiring] Data Migration Lead @Stockport NHS Foundation Trust

Role Description

This is a key senior specialist role within the Joint Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme. The post holder will provide expert leadership, specialist oversight and hands-on technical delivery of complex data migration workstreams, ensuring the safe, accurate and clinically robust migration of data from legacy systems into the new EPR and archive solutions.

Working as part of the Joint EPR Programme team and closely with clinical, operational, digital, information governance, system suppliers, data engineers and analysts, the post holder will:

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of highly complex migration activities.
• Define migration scope.
• Develop and execute migration plans.
• Produce mapping specifications.
• Design transformation rules.
• Manage testing cycles.
• Coordinate cutover activities.
• Ensure that migration processes are robust, repeatable and supported by appropriate governance, documentation and quality assurance mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Experience in data migration and electronic patient records.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Technical expertise in data management and governance.
