Role Description

Join a dynamic team in the transportation industry, working remotely to design and optimize data integration solutions. This role focuses on leveraging Talend and Snowflake to create efficient and scalable data workflows.

• Design, develop, and maintain Talend ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build data ingestion and transformation workflows from multiple source systems.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake data models and SQL workloads.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality checks.
• Troubleshoot failed or underperforming ETL/ELT jobs and resolve production issues.
• Optimize Talend workflows and Snowflake queries for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, application teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Support deployment and release activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, mappings, transformations, and operational procedures.
• Follow data engineering, security, governance, and development standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Talend ETL/ELT, including designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting workflows using Talend Studio and Talend Management Console.
• Proven experience with Snowflake data platforms, including data ingestion, modeling, transformation, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, data transformation, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience in designing and supporting scalable cloud-based data integration and data engineering solutions.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, resolving data-quality/integration issues, and supporting production data pipelines.
• Prior work experience in the transportation industry or related fields.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Familiarity with dbt, data transformation frameworks, metadata, data quality, lineage, or governance practices.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks in cloud data engineering environments.
