Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Manager to join our team!
In this critical role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining our organisation's data governance framework
- Ensuring data quality, compliance, and security across all business units
- Developing and implementing comprehensive data governance strategies and policies
- Overseeing data quality initiatives and implementing data quality management processes
- Designing and implementing data governance metrics and reporting mechanisms
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of data governance practices
This role will suit a proactive doer, someone who can roll their sleeves up to get it done and focus on progress and not immediate perfection!
Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in IT, Information systems, Engineering or other STEM related discipline
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate experience with Data governance, data management or related roles
- Proven experience deploying data governance solutions
- Experienced with managing Material Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
- Worked in mid cap sized businesses (1,000 – 15,000 employees) serving industrial business to business markets
- Practical experience with building capability from the ground up
