[Hiring] Business Intelligence Analyst II @WEX

Role Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst II serves as a technical architect and automation lead within one or more of the domain areas within the Global Risk Operations organization. You will leverage enterprise-approved tools—Tableau, Python, SQL, and RPA—to modernize legacy workflows and drive operational scale. This role is the bridge between theoretical efficiency and the deployment of hardened, audit-ready automation.

You are a change agent dedicated to the continuous improvement of the department’s technical and automation capabilities. Your success will be determined by your ability to modernize the risk landscape through governed self-service. You will be evaluated on three primary pillars - operational scale, efficiency and impact, and integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance) OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.
• 2-4 years in a Finance or Risk Operations environment.
• Foundational understanding of SOX or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Proven history of successfully converting manual processes into automated, scalable workflows.
• Proficiency in complex joins and ETL processes.
• Python: Intermediate proficiency, specifically utilizing Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• RPA: Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like UiPath or Power Automate.
• Intermediate or better SQL and Oracle database experience, working with large data sets.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.

Pay Range

$71,200.00 - $84,900.00
