[Hiring] Business Analyst - Consultant @Lumen Solutions Group Inc.

Role Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information, Healthcare Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered with a minimum of 3+ years of direct supervisor experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare insurance, medical review, program integrity, or appeals.
• 5+ years’ experience working with IT developers/programmers in a payer environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in medical coding in a payer environment.
• 3+ years’ clinical experience in a healthcare environment (strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills).
• 5+ years’ strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS translation and coding methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in policy remediation.
• 5+ years’ experience with medical claim processing systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Optum Encoder or other medical coding software programs.

Requirements

• Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment.
• Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
