Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on product and technology initiatives. This role will involve close collaboration with the Product Manager, technology teams, operations, and various stakeholders to build a new premium allocation and calculation capability and ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality software solution that meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with global Operations teams to understand their processes, challenges, and requirements.
• Current-State Analysis: Document and map existing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Business Requirements Documentation: Develop and document comprehensive business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
• User Stories Development: Work with stakeholders to document user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, facilitating clear communication to the development team for implementation.
• Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with the Product Manager to maintain a robust product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Requirements Prioritization: Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business impact and feasibility.
• Project Management Support: Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to define project scope, create high-level project plans, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
• Liaison Role: Serve as a bridge between business representatives and technical teams during the development process, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into functional specifications.
• Testing Coordination: Implement system testing protocols and coordinate user acceptance testing to verify that business requirements are met.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, particularly within product or technology-focused environments.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing requirements, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in executive-level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
• Highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
