Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Assistant with a background in the medical field to assist with patient outreach, call handling, and administrative support. This role requires expertise in physical therapy and chiropractic terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. This is a part-time position requiring 5 hours per day to start, with potential for growth.
- Handle inbound calls from potential patients and leads, providing information and scheduling appointments.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up with previous patients and assist with any inquiries or appointment scheduling.
- Perform insurance verifications for patients, ensuring coverage details are accurately documented.
- Manage and process claims related to No-Fault Insurance and Workers' Compensation cases.
- Utilize physical therapy and chiropractic terminology effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of patient interactions, appointments, and insurance details.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical office experience is a must.
- Experience with insurance verifications is required.
- Strong knowledge of No-Fault Insurance and Workers' Compensation procedures.
- Familiarity with physical therapy and chiropractic terminology.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment for handling calls.
