Role Description

We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Press Release Solutions Support Specialist to join our team and help our customers distribute a press release seamlessly.

As our first Press Release Solutions Support Specialist, your mission will be to:

  • Perform account research and set our press release customers up for success in the Muck Rack platform
  • Liaise between the customer and our distribution partner
  • Become the internal expert our GTM teams turn to for help during a sales process

You should be excited about collaborating cross-functionally–not just internally, but also with Muck Rack’s customers and our distribution partner–and making sure the details are just right. You’ll be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Operate with discretion–you’ll be exposed to confidential information before it’s live
  • Sweat the small stuff because you know that accuracy is where it’s at

This is a full time 1099 contractor position that offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent full-time role based on performance and company needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Press release entry and formatting in our distribution partner’s platform
  • Liaise between our distribution partner and customers
  • Perform account research, verifying information like Name, Address, Stock Market details, etc.
  • Set up internal accounts and grant access to the Press Release feature
  • Collaborate with internal teams like Sales, Customer Success, Customer Onboarding, and Customer Support

How success will be measured in this role:

  • Meeting SLAs for account research and external communications
  • Accuracy and precision when entering press releases and setting up accounts
  • Maintaining a standard of positive customer feedback

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Attention to detail with data entry
  • Organization and prioritization skills–may handle many requests at once
  • Effective time management
  • Collaborative
  • Trustworthy–experience handling confidential information

Requirements

Interview Overview:

  • 45 min zoom interview with the hiring manager + a mock exercise during the interview
  • Skills assessment (30 min max)
  • 45 min zoom interview with the head of our Customer Support team

Salary

In the US, the starting salary for this role is $30/hour. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.

We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
